Phase 1
Issuing applications
D. M. 2025 – D. M. 2025
Pro zjednodušení administrace zápisů do základních škol zřizovaných Městskou části Praha 10 budeme rádi, když využijete jednotný formulář žádosti poskytovaný tímto systémem.
I. Elektronické vydání žádosti
Požádáte-li o pomoc odbor školství nebo základní školu, nezapomeňte s sebou vzít průkaz pojištěnce (dítěte) a případně si domluvit termín a čas návštěvy.
Phase 2
Receipt of completed applications at primary schools (ENROLMENT)
10 – 11 February 2026
Submit the completed application with the numeric identifier shown in the top left corner of the application to the selected primary school. If for any reason the generated applications have different numeric identifiers, submit to the selected primary schools only one version of the application with the same numeric identifier.
Applications are received on the dates above during the hours set by the head teacher of the selected primary school. You can apply for your child at more than one primary school; we recommend applying primarily at the child's catchment school. We also recommend that the child attends the enrolment in person together with the legal guardian.
On the date of receipt of applications, present the following documents to the primary school staff:
- the duly completed application,
- the child's birth certificate,
- the legal guardian's identity card (for foreign nationals, a document proving residence in the Czech Republic)
In accordance with Section 37(4) of Act No. 500/2004 Coll., the Administrative Procedure Code, as amended, the application for admission to primary education can be delivered in writing, orally for the record or electronically. The application can be submitted in the following ways:
- to the school's data box (each school has its own data box) from the legal guardian's personal data box,
- by e-mail with a recognised electronic signature (a plain e-mail is not enough!),
- by post,
- in person: when the application is submitted in person by the child's legal guardian, receipt of applications must be organised so as to avoid crowding and excessive movement of people in the school.
If the application is submitted by other technical means (e.g. by e-mail without a recognised electronic signature, by fax, etc.), the legal guardian must confirm it within 5 days in one of the ways listed above.
When the primary school receives the application, the legal guardians will be informed about the next steps.
If the application is incomplete, the legal guardian will be asked to complete the details within the time limit set by the head teacher. If the legal guardian does not remedy the defects they were asked to remedy, the administrative proceedings will be discontinued by a resolution.
After 11 February 2025 and until the end of the administrative proceedings, no further applications will be accepted, except for additional enrolments.
Pursuant to Section 37(1) of the Education Act, the child's legal guardian may apply in writing at the time of the child's enrolment.
Phase 3
Evaluation of applications
In accordance with Section 36 of Act
No. 500/2004 Coll., the Administrative Procedure Code, legal guardians may exercise their procedural right to comment on the basis for the decision within the time limit set by the head teacher, in the building of the primary school where they submitted the application for admission. The responsible member of the primary school staff will inform them of this in one of the following ways, based on the details given in the application:
- in writing at the enrolment at the school,
- by e-mail,
- via data box,
- by written delivery,
- by phone,
- by text message (SMS).
After this date, the head teacher will decide on the admission or non-admission of your child to the selected primary school.
You can follow the progress of the admission procedure on this web portal.
The list of unique identification numbers of the admitted pupils will be published pursuant to Section 183(2) of Act No. 561/2004 Coll., the Education Act, on this web portal and on the website or notice board of the respective primary school within the statutory time limit of 30 days.
The decision not to admit the child to primary education will be handed over or sent to the legal guardian personally at the address given in the application for admission to primary education, or to the legal guardian's data box (natural person).
Appeals against the head teacher's decision not to admit a child to primary education are decided by the regional authority, which for schools in the Prague 10 city district is the Prague City Hall.
Appeals are submitted through the school that issued the decision.
Information for legal guardians – choice of school and withdrawal of an application
If you receive decisions on your child's admission to primary education from more than one primary school, you must choose one school the child will actually attend.
At the other schools that also admitted your child, please withdraw the application for admission. This frees up the place for other applicants.
The application withdrawal form will be available after logging in to the Primary School Enrolment system. After generating it, please deliver it to the respective school.
Thank you for your cooperation and consideration towards other legal guardians and primary schools.
Admission of pupils to primary schools is decided by the head teacher of the primary school in the admission procedure, which ends when the time limits set by the Administrative Procedure Code expire. Any newly available places are filled in accordance with the Education Act.
